Risk management is one of the areas of management, which focuses mainly on the identification, assessment and possible reduction of risk. Students will be acquainted with various methods and techniques of risk prevention in this course, thanks to which it is possible to eliminate existing or potential factors increasing risk. Furthermore, students will focus on the basic procedures of risk measurement, understand the role of the leader in risk management and will be able to identify, secure, analyze, treat and monitor risks in all areas of management.

Within the course Internal and external control, students will be acquainted with the main methods and problem areas of control, they will learn to identify individual control mechanisms, express the specifics of control and will be able to understand control as such, given that it is a key tool of business management. . Management and control systems
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the area of control from the position of managers. It emphasizes the corrective and motivational functions of control as a continuous monitoring and evaluation of work processes and important phenomena from its external environment. The course further deepens knowledge in the field of business management in connection with control systems and control results.
External audit, nature and significance
The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive overview of the possibilities of using external audit for the corporate sector, to inform about its legislative framework, to create a comparison of internal and external audit with emphasis on relevant differences between them. The course is aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of the audit in general, from the historical development to the current legislation. The course defines selected concepts, introduces the main participating entities and contains a detailed description of the audit process.
Financial audit and its essence
The aim of the course is to understand the theoretical basis of audit and to master the methodology of auditing in accordance with international rules. An audit of the financial statements, or a financial audit, is an independent audit by the auditor to the extent that it is probable that the financial statements presented will be true and fair and in accordance with the relevant regulations. In contrast to the classic concept of audit, which related mainly to accounting, today's audit extends to the management of economically active entities in its entirety. Students will get acquainted with the importance of audit, its risks, legal responsibilities and professional ethics of the auditor. The subject of interpretation is theoretical audit methods and the main principles of audit.
Risk, fraud prevention
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with active and appropriate measures against fraud using cost-effective means. The course defines targeted fraud risk assessment and describes in detail regulatory regulations, cost-effective fraud risk management and the implementation of effective and appropriate anti-fraud measures, which in practice means a targeted and differentiated approach to individual programs and situations.
Controlling and process model of business management
The aim of the course is to build on knowledge from the field of business economics, management, marketing, financial and managerial accounting and from the field of financial management and to deepen this knowledge. Emphasis is placed on understanding the importance of controlling tools for managerial work and their quality provision of economic information based on financial and managerial reporting and accounting. Special attention is paid to the precise definition of the interface between controlling, strategic and operational, qualitative and quantitative tools for measuring performance and managerial responsibilities associated with controlling activities.
Corporate governance
The aim of the subject Corporate Governance is to provide students with a deeper knowledge of the part of the law of business corporations that deals with capital companies, especially those whose securities are listed on a regulated market. Attention is paid mainly to legislation and practice in connection with the issues of management and administration of the joint stock company.
Controlling in the management of innovation and research
The aim of the course is to define the basic concepts and contexts in strategic and operational innovation controlling and change management. The student will understand the mechanism of origin and risk management in innovation. The main goal of the course is to understand the role of controlling, which consists in the active support of innovations, whether it is a one-time innovation or an overall process view of them in terms of a continuous process of improvement.
